‘Gebaude’ is the German word for Building. We’re inspired by the modernist architecture of Bauhaus, the most influential art and architecture school of the 20th century in Germany, founded in 1919. At a time of inflation and economic hardship in Germany, the Bauhaus sought a cost-effective, functional and modern design for housing. The Bauhaus’ unique style was aimed at ‘the greatest comfort with the greatest economy by the application of the best craftsmanship and the best distribution of space in form, size, and articulation.’ The Bauhaus Dessau is by far the most famous monument of classical modern art in Germany. The philosophy behind Bauhaus’ style has been the basis of all our architectural creations and we continually strive towards achievement of the parameters set forth in Bauhaus’ design methodology.
Gebaude - This company has been established by a group of professionals to meet the growing demand in providing innovative, efficient and cost-effective design, engineering and project management solutions. With the approaching boom for Infrastructure Services, Gebaude aims at exploiting the market potential in focus sector verticals of Highways and Townships Urban Development.
We are experienced Engineers, architects, and Project managers having designed, supervised and monitored number of building, roads, flyovers, bridges etc. projects from inception to commissioning and maintenance. Our people have had rich full time experience with reputed construction and consulting organizations in the past before our endeavor to come together to provide specialized services in architecture and civil construction within the budgeted costs of an organization while maintaining the required levels of quality. Our clientele range from small entrepreneurs, contractors, consultants etc. who’re interested to bid for/ manage projects without wanting to invest in setting up a big office, recruiting staff etc. and corporate houses who desire to cut costs by offloading a part/complete assignment/ contract. To meet our clients’ goals, we have a dedicated and well networked workforce, conversant with the latest technical knowhow and skills in designing/project management, to our credit. We intend to take up projects and hire services of more trained personnel for the same in future. Presently, we’re working in Kolkata and suburbs in West Bengal, but we’re interested in expanding our base to other geographical territories as well.
